This section of our website will provide practical and helpful tools for families and professionals to assist them in better navigating healthcare systems.
Here is a very special addition:
My Child’s Map to Services - Family Voices of WA, WA State Title V and “other” Washington State Parent organizations worked together to create My Child’s Map to Services a template for families. The tool serves as a quick reference guide for families just receiving a new diagnosis of Autism for their child. No parent is ever prepared to hear that a child is anything other than happy and healthy, and a diagnosis of autism can be particularly scary. This tool is for parents wondering about what to do next. There is so much information, good and bad, available on Autism now that we wanted to simplify things for families just beginning their journey. It is available in Cambodian, Spanish and Korean.
